Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies

Recipe:

Ingredients

- 200 grams soft butter

- 2 dl brown sugar

- 0,5 dl white sugar

- 1 egg

- 1 tbs vanilla powder

- 2 tsp cornstarch

- 3,5 dl flour

- 150 grams milk chocolate chips

Topping
- 200 grams dulce de leche

- Hard caramel toffee

- Flake salt (optional)

 

Instructions

Preheat the oven, 175 degrees celcius. Combine the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Add the egg and mix well. Incorporate all the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Finally, add the chocolate chips and mix again. Scoop the cookie dough onto a sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake the cookies for 13-15 minutes until they are brown around the edges (175 degrees celsius). Allow the cookies to cool before starting with the topping. Once cooled, spread 1 tablespoon of caramel over each cookie, then add the hard caramel toffee and a sprinkle of flake salt.
