Ingredients
The cheese cake batter
- 5 dl whipped cream
- 200 grams cream cheese
- 1 dl crushed oreos
- 1,5 dl powdered sugar
The base
- 1,5 packs of crushed oreos
- 5 tbs melted butter
The ganache
- 1 dl warmed whipping cream
- 200 grams milk chocolate
For decoration
- Crushed oreos
- Oreos cut in half
I used 3 packs (154gx3) of oreos for the whole recipe. There is no need to separate the filling from the oreos in this recipe.
Instructions
Crush 1,5 packs of oreos and mix them with 5 tablespoons of melted butter. Line the springform pan with parchment paper and press the mixture into the springform pan. Chill the base in the fridge while you prepare the cheesecake batter. Meanwhile, start making the cheesecake batter. Start of by whipping the cream. Add all the other ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pour the cheesecake batter into the prepared form. Now make the ganache by warming up 1 dl cream in the microwave for a couple of seconds, pour it over the chocolate and let it sit for 5 minutes, then mix the ganache. Once the ganache has cooled down (takes a couple of minutes), pour it over the cheesecake. Sprinkle some crushed cookies on the sides of the cheesecake and add the oreos cut in half. Allow the cheesecake to chill in the freezer for at least 1,5 hours before serving.
